I just made up an awesome joke today while I was driving! Here it is:
What do you call it when Al Gore is rocking out a nice beat on the drums? An algorithm.
My sister knows a lot more about sports than me and I’m not ashamed to admit it. In fact, when she was working a softball tournament a couple of weeks back, she was hanging out with some umpires and other men working in the press box. One of the umpires asked the men if they knew how a triple play could ever happen without a single fielder touching the ball. After it was obvious that none of...
Frugality
The small company I work for has a company car. It is a mid 90s GMC Jimmy and I take it on all the photo shoots I do. Let me tell you, it is one crappy car. The suspension is loose, the gas pedal sticks, the heat rarely works, it is all torn up and dirty inside, and it smells funny. But I loved driving it. That is, until I bought my new car a year ago. Now every time I drive the Jimmy, it’s...
160 Megapixels
Eight megapixel cameras are nice. Twelve megapixels is getting up there nowadays. But why would anyone need this 160 megapixel camera:

Church Ruins

It was rebuilt in 1826, but burned again in 1865. Since then, the brick pillars and walls have eerily stood in the forest among randomly scattered old tombstones. I used the opportunity to test my Duaflex rig a little more.

January Daytum Update
Not that anyone really cares, but I thought I would share a few stats about me from January. You may remember that I’ve been keeping track of various aspects of my life in 2009 through Daytum. I drank an average of around 20.12 ounces of pure water a day, not quite as high as I had hoped. I had 24 cups of coffee, which roughly equals one per weekday. I had slightly less than one beer per...
