Another Blog to Read
I’m really going to try to stick with it for a while this time, I promise. I grew pretty tired of the look, feel, and atmosphere of LiveJournal about a year and a half ago and decided that it wasn’t worth my time anymore. But there have been too many moments since then that I’ve really wished I had a blog to share something funny, insightful, or informative with everyone I could.
I knew that if I ever returned to it, I would do it under my terms, even if that meant abandoning a possible “community” umbrella that might get me more hits. I would make it look exactly how I wanted it to look: clean and centered, with no extra crap on the sides that distracted your valuable attention. I wanted a simple comment system that didn’t require anyone to join anything. I also wanted it connected to my photo site, hoping that people brought here via links from elsewhere would also take the time to check out my pictures.
I’m hoping to share several different types of things here: new pictures I want you to see, random thoughts and ideas I want to share, audio I want you to hear, videos I want you to see, links I want you to visit, quotes I want you think about.
Hopefully what you read here will have a more mature tone than anything you’ve read from me before. I know you needed another blog to RSS and read because you probably don’t have enough already! So thanks for coming at least once, I hope you return.
