Music that Makes You Dumb
One of the hundreds of interesting links I’ve seen lately that I’ve wanted to share is Music that Makes You Dumb: Average SAT (with standard error) for the 133 most popular entries for “favorite music” on facebook.
This list ranks the “smartest music.” Most rankings don’t really surprise me, but some seemed strangely high on the list, like #14 Phish, #18 Dispatch, and #24 Third Eye Blind. In my opinion, this was the most interesting link. It’s kind of sad too.

All this from the guy who made big news last year for WikiScanner, a website that traces Wikipedia edits to the computer networks where they originated.
