Everybody knows that when you run for a political office, your opposition tries to dig up as much crap as they can to make you look bad. Most people running for office these days grew up before the digital age, but can you imagine how bad it’s going to be when everyone our age is running for office? There are a million pictures of every person out there and I’m betting that almost everyone has a few that could make them look bad. Even if they aren’t really that bad. For instance, I was messing around with my flashes and took this picture below of my roommate Johnny last night at our apartment. If he ever decided to run for office, somebody could put this picture on a commercial where the image is doing the Ken Burns slow fade effect and the low scary strings are in the background and that voice from the Miller High Life commercials is saying, “Is THIS who you want changing your laws?” or whatever. That would be funny. He’s not a bad guy and it’s not like he’s yelling at a kitten or anything. I just think that 20 years from now, the mud slinging is going to be even more ridiculous than it is now. And we are going to sit back and enjoy the embarrassing photos popping up of every single person running for office.
