Great Northern - Low is a Height
I’ve been enjoying this Great Northern song a lot the past few days. Although I don’t have much of a taste for pop, there’s a style of overproduced electronic sound that really appeals to me. And when they get it right—strong keyboard and string arrangements, rich layered harmonies, and a good mix of real and electronic percussion—it gets lodged in some corner of my brain and I can’t get it out until I completely dissect the song and it becomes 100% lucid to me. It usually takes a least a week. This is the song currently running laps in my mind right now.
