I know what you’re thinking. “It’s just a sink.” Yes, it is just a sink. But it’s also a black belt picture. That’s a term I created that sort of means it’s a picture that I couldn’t get any better, no matter how long I spent trying. Imagine a ninja walking into a room with a bunch of other ninjas, and a long fight scene ensues. This particular ninja is flipping over the other ninjas, throwing refrigerators, spinning his leg across the floor and tripping up four other ninjas at a time, stuff like that. He’s throwing ninja stars, sidekicking faces, (I forgot to mention there’s a speed metal song playing in the background) and after a while he’s the only one still standing. The ninja looks around and then takes off his mask to reveal that he is THIS picture! I don’t have my black belt in photography, but I wish I did. It’s a state of quality I strive for. Others could take a better photo of this sink, but not me. Not with the gear and experience I have. The stars aligned, the lighting and settings were perfect, and I held my breath and pushed the button. I wanted to share this moment of photographic zen with you. I took this picture for work, and wish I could share a lot more photography I do for my job. Unfortunately, it’s not a good idea.
