How embarrassing, no updates in 18 days. I feel like I have toilet paper stuck to my shoe or a booger in my nose or something. I’ve been super busy and will remain that way for the next three weeks or so. Last week I was up in Mars Hill, NC playing music at a camp all week. Now I’m back and have a few weeks to move apartments and finish the Fall Issue of the magazine I work for. I’ve been taking a lot of pictures and plan on posting some of those. Also, I’ve been brainstorming for a complete revamp of www.michaelcosta.net and I’m really pumped about it. Probably won’t happen until September, but it’s gonna be good and it’ll have tons of fresh stuff to look at. One new section is going to be a collection of night shots in Charleston with no people in them. Taken in late-night wanderings around the city when everyone else is asleep. Here are a few to get a feel for what I mean. They are better big. I’m thinking about naming the section “Solitary City” or something cheesy dramatic like that. Something that conveys that Charleston is definitely no New York; when it hits 11 pm, people are tucked away.
