My old pal Adam rolled into town last weekend, complete with wife, two kids, and two dogs. I always learn a few things about life from Adam whenever we get to hang out. Looking at the responsibility he carries gives me hope. Though I’ll admit, it also stresses me out a little bit too. I’m not talking about exactly what he’s done, but the fact that he’s had the guts to do it all. He has blazed his own trail and taken a few adventures that still haven’t ended. It wasn’t long ago that we were two dorks living in a dorm room together. The only responsibility we had was not failing out of college. We’re both still dorks, but in very different ways. He knew he could rely on my dorkiness to get a few pictures of his family while they were in town. He and his wife Melissa both have blue eyes, which is going to be the ultimate gift to their two boys once girls really start paying attention to them.
