Paper Route - You Kill Me

from their EP, Are We All Forgotten

These dudes started making incredible songs back in 2004 in their house with an iBook and some cheap speakers. Since then, they’ve put out a lot of quality stuff that is electronic based, but still incorporates a good amount of guitar and piano. The beats they make are really complex, and the production is rich. Plus they’re just the right touch of emo; the lyrics are deep but not so cheesy or depressing that you want to go put some mascara on or something. They released another EP a few months back that is good, but not as good as their older stuff. If you like this, listen to “Second Chances” or “Tearing the House Down.”

To add proof to the fact that the internet rules, they have made a web site where you can listen to the whole new EP and watch crazy video clips while you’re at it. It’s a smart idea and just makes me like them more.

Side Note: Try not to confuse this music group with rapper Mack 10’s fourth studio album, The Paper Route (featuring such hits as “From tha Streetz,” “Pimp or Die,” “Keep It Gangsta,” and “Spousal Abuse.”)
