Through the Viewfinder

A recent fad among photographers has been to use new digital cameras to shoot through the lenses or viewfinders of old cameras. I bought an old Kodak Duaflex to give it a try. It’s an awesome little camera, and I’m almost certain that it actually works, though I haven’t tried yet. 

                    

I might post later about specifically how I take these pictures, but I actually focus my pro camera into the viewfinder of the Duaflex. I messed around with it late the other night at my house. Here are a few test shots I took. My kitchen:

                    

And then I set the timer and took a living room picture of me chilling in my Clemson pajama pants.

                    

I am going to experiment with it more this weekend. I think I can improve how I was doing it and get better results. I love how 50s it looks though. Of course, my house looks kind of 50s too so that probably helped.
