Here’s another cover shoot I did recently of tennis pro Lenny Schloss. He played in Wimbledon and the US Open back in the day. This was a tough shoot because it was in the middle of the day and the sun was also in a bad spot. I actually had to expose separately for the background and do some photoshopping. My lights were able to eliminate most of the harsh shadows but unfortunately he was squinting his eyes a lot. Therefore, I had to photoshop his eyes and brow in from another shoot I did with him that was indoors.
The shoot was at the Family Circle Cup Tennis stadium on Daniel Island. A local furniture company let us use the chair and table for the shoot. This guy dropped the furniture off and I told him we would take 45 minutes tops. An hour and a half later, he still hadn’t come back and I really needed to get going. I called the company a few times and they said the guy was on his way, but after waiting 30 minutes I just left the expensive furniture sitting on the sidewalk! That was 3 weeks ago and I never heard anything about it so I guess they got the furniture back OK.
